Cambridge Computer Laboratory

Here's an e-mail I sent the head of department, Ann Copestake, of the University of Cambridge Computer Lab five days ago, to which I have seen no reply to date.

Dear Ann,

I hope you're well. I have only just this minute that you're now Head of Department. Congratulations, I suppose, though the job might be a bit arduous!

I have for several years now being trying, mostly unsuccessfully, to communicate with Andy Hopper, Larry Paulson and others in the department, trying to get their help to establish some working communications with people in Britain, in particular with my daughter Helen who is now at Cambridge, but with whom I have great difficulty communicating, and I suspect that this is because some people, including her mother, are pressuring her to influence in a manner that's obscure to me. Something exceedingly crooked has been going on behind my back, both while I was at the Lab and since leaving. I am most concerned about the number of people who have died that were all associated with me and my work in some way. In particular Robin and Lucy Milner, Roger and Karen Needham, David Wheeler, Richard Gibbens, Mike Gordon and David MacKay. I have repeatedly brought this up with people from the British Embassy and associates of theirs, and I have never had anything I could call a response at all. Not even blank incredulity. I find this extremely odd. I am forwarding a mail I sent a few days ago, in my most recent attempt to establish some sort of discussion. So far the only reply I have received was from Markus Kuhn, and another acknowledgement from my daughter.

I am writing now because I have received some very, very weird messages in news reports from the UK which lead me to believe something is afoot, though they don't give much of a clue as to what that might be. An addendum.

I am being abused here by British government officials, acting through local people. That however is not the problem you can solve. You have to solve your own local problems which all center around illegal collusion between national intelligence agencies. It is not just the CIA and MI6, it is rife. There has probably been illegal collusion between every intelligence of every country in the world. Sabine Hossenfelder - Lost in Math

Sabine's book,  Lost in Math published in 2018. See  Rebecca Smethurst on the Crisis in Cosmology . Here's an interview on the subject of the book: At 16 minutes 27 seconds on aesthetics in a theory. I think you should worry first and foremost about whether or not it works, otherwise you are not doing empirical science. At 19 minutes 19 seconds on whether there would be better ways to advance physics other than by building the next generation of super high-energy particle collider. This is similar to military spending and it's really just an artefact of Keynesian monetary theory: that you can create 'wealth' by employing men to dig holes in the road and fill them up again.
